This eCourse curriculum prepares candidates for the Culinary Foundations certification exam, which validates the skills required in a professional kitchen and is endorsed by the World Association of Master Chefs, which has chapters in over 60 countries and has approximately 150,000 members worldwide.

The MSi Culinary Foundations ecourse is designed to serve as the learning component within Certiport's "Learn, Practice, Certify" methodology. The course takes about 30-40 hours to complete. Participants will have access to the following elements in the course:

Instructions to access this course are delivered via email from Moore Solutions (MSi). Please allow up to two business days for processing.

The MSi course is delivered on the GMetrix platform, which means you can access any CertPREP powered by GMetrix practice tests you may have purchased at the Certiport Store using your same login information. After the online course is purchased, you will receive an email containing the product code and instructions on how access the course.

Technical Requirements:

The Hospitality and Culinary Arts Careers course by MSi is entirely web-based and can be completed, including grades, on any device with an internet connection, including grades, on any device with an internet connection, including a PC, Mac, Chrome book, or tablet.

CertPREP Practice Tests

This product includes a single application license for CertPREP practice tests. It may be used to prepare for the Culinary Foundations exam.

This CertPREP single title license allows one user to make up to 30 practice test attempts for one of the available titles during a one year period.

CertPREP practice tests for the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Careers certification are designed to replicate the certification exam experience so Test Candidates can better prepare themselves for the actual exam. The CertPREP practice tests are mapped to the certification objectives so the Test Candidate is assured that they are practicing the skills that will help them pass the certification exam.

Practice tests are offered in two modes:

Testing Mode:

• Test Candidates experience what the certification exams will be like
• Timed practice test that performs just like the actual certification exam

Training Mode:

• Test Candidates work at their own pace as they receive feedback
• They may opt to access step-by-step instructions or help for each question

When the license holder activates this license, you will be able to choose the CertPREP title for Hospitality and Culinary Arts Careers - Culinary Foundations. Once you have chosen a title, the license will then be locked down to allow you to access only the chosen title.

After the practice test license is purchased, you will receive an email containing the product code and instructions on how access the practice tests.

Hospitality and Culinary Arts Careers Exam Voucher with Retake

The Culinary Foundations exam certifies that a candidate has successfully demonstrated the essential knowledge and skills—including set up procedures, food safety and sanitation, executing recipes, and time management—necessary to work professionally in a commercial kitchen. A candidate who earns this certification is qualified to work in a kitchen as a cook, such as restaurant, short order, delicatessen, line or station, and/or prep cooks.

The Culinary Foundations certification is endorsed by the World Association of Master Chefs, which has chapters in over 60 countries and has approximately 150,000 members worldwide.

Certiport Exam Voucher details:

This product contains one Hospitality and Culinary Arts Careers Exam Voucher with a retake. In the event you do not pass the exam, a retake code will be emailed to you. You may retake the exam after 24 hours from the time of your initial exam was first started. Retake vouchers must be used within 60 days of the failed exam.

• Exam vouchers are transmitted electronically via e-mail and are non-refundable.
• Expires one year after date of purchase.
• Please allow up to two days for processing.
• The holder of this voucher number is entitled to take one exam at a Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC).
• The voucher number can be used to take the Hospitality and Culinary Arts Careers - Culinary Foundations certification exam.
• In the event that you do not pass the exam, a retake code will be emailed to you. You may retake the exam after waiting 24 hours from the time your initial exam was first started. Retake vouchers must be used within 60 days of the failed exam.
• Certiport Authorized Testing Centers (CATCs) reserve the right to charge a proctoring fee.
