CertPREP Practice Tests

CertPREP powered by GMetrix practice tests for the IT Specialist certifications are designed to replicate the certification exam experience so Test Candidates can better prepare themselves for the actual exam. The CertPREP practice tests use the same exam format as the Certiport certification exam and are mapped to the certification objectives so the Test Candidate is assured that they are practicing the skills that will help them pass the certification exam.

Practice tests are offered in two modes:

Testing Mode:

• Test Candidates experience what the certification exams will be like
• Timed practice test that performs just like the actual certification exam

Training Mode:

• Test Candidates work at their own pace as they receive feedback
• They may opt to access step-by-step instructions or help for each question

This single title license allows one user to make up to 30 practice test attempts for one of the available IT Specialist titles during a one year period. Each title has 1-3 practice tests available.

After the practice test license is purchased, you will receive an email containing the product code and instructions on how access the practice tests. You will be required to choose one IT Specialist title. Once you have chosen a title, the license will then be locked down to allow you to access only the chosen title.

The Information Technology Specialist program is a way for candidates to validate foundational IT skills sought after by employers. The IT Specialist program is aimed at candidates who are considering or just beginning a path to a career in information technology. Candidates can certify their knowledge in a broad range of IT topics, including software development, database administration, networking and security, mobility and device management, and coding.

To keep the IT Specialist certifications current and job relevant the following exams have special features candidates should be aware of:

• Python Next Generation includes performance‑based questions, allowing you to write and evaluate real code during the exam—mirroring real‑world development scenarios.
• The original Python exam remains available as a selected‑response format.
• Both Python exams assess the same Objective Domains, giving you a choice in testing style.
• Device Configuration and Management is available for Windows 10 or Windows 11.
• While Windows 10 has been retired by Microsoft, both versions share the same Objective Domains, with Windows 11–specific concepts reflected in the objectives.

Certiport Exam Voucher Details:

• Exam vouchers are transmitted electronically via e-mail and are non-refundable.
• Expires one year after date of purchase.
• Please allow up to two days for processing.
• The holder of this voucher number is entitled to take one exam at a Certiport Authorized Testing Center.
• The voucher number can be used to take any one of the following IT Specialist certification exams: Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Computational Thinking, Cybersecurity, Databases, Data Analytics, Device Configuration and Management, HTML and CSS, HTML5 Application Development, Java, Javascript, Networking, Network Security, Python, or Software Development.
• In the event that you do not pass the exam, a retake code will be emailed to you. You may retake the exam after waiting 24 hours from the time your initial exam was first started. Retake vouchers must be used within 60 days of the failed exam. (For details on Retake Vouchers please click here.)
• Certiport Authorized Testing Centers (CATCs) reserve the right to charge a proctoring fee.

My Pathway Basics

By passing multiple, specific certification exams that combine certain desirable work-ready skills, it places you on a more focused career path. My Pathway is a way for you to receive extra credentials by earning multiple certifications. How to get started on My Pathway

You begin by earning your first certification. The product on this page provides you with a single voucher that can be redeemed at a CATC to take your exam. Should you pass that exam, your journey has already begun. The next step would be to purchase another voucher and pass another required exam. For example, earning 3 of the 3 required certifications listed on the My Pathway page at Certiport.com would grant you the credential of App Development Freelancer.

After purchasing this product, you will also need to create a Test Candidate profile at Certiport.com in order to register and take your exam. When you are logged in at Certiport, an entire section is devoted to My Pathway where your progress with all pathways are tracked so you always know where to go next.
