This XED course, developed by CCI Learning, is delivered on the GMetrix platform and offers a superior learning experience. The course takes about 40 hours to complete and prepares you for the Critical Career Skills (CCS) exam.

The CCI XED course is delivered via the GMetrix platform, which means you can access any CertPREP Practice Test powered by GMetrix you may have purchased at the Certiport Store using your same login information.

After the online course is purchased, you will receive an email containing the product code and instructions on how access the course.

Technical Requirements:

The GMetrix and XED platforms are compatible with all modern desktop and mobile web browsers and operating systems. A high-speed internet connection is required.

CertPREP Practice Tests

This product includes a single application license for available CCS CertPREP practice tests. It may be used to prepare for one of the following: Generative AI Foundations or the Professional Communication exam.

This CertPREP single title license allows one user to make up to 30 practice test attempts for one of the available titles during a one year period.

CertPREP practice tests for the CCS certifications are designed to replicate the certification exam experience so Test Candidates can better prepare themselves for the actual exam. The CertPREP practice tests are mapped to the certification objectives so the Test Candidate is assured that they are practicing the skills that will help them pass the certification exam.

Practice tests are offered in two modes:

Testing Mode:

• Test Candidates experience what the certification exams will be like
• Timed practice test that performs just like the actual certification exam

Training Mode:

• Test Candidates work at their own pace as they receive feedback
• They may opt to access step-by-step instructions or help for each question

When the license holder activates this license, you will be able to choose the CertPREP title for either CCS Generative AI Foundations or CCS Professional Communication. Once you have chosen a title, the license will then be locked down to allow you to access only the chosen title.

After the practice test license is purchased, you will receive an email containing the product code and instructions on how access the practice tests.

CCS Exam Voucher with Retake

CCS Professional Communication: The Professional Communication exam validates that candidates entering the workforce understand key communication principles and skills that are necessary to be effective in a work environment.

CCS Generative AI Foundations: As one of the most sought-after soft skills of the future, proficiency with generative AI tools and technical agility will be invaluable to both employers and employees. Demonstrate your fundamental understanding of Generative AI, its applications in both personal and professional contexts, and the responsible and ethical management of this technology with a Generative AI Foundations Certification.

• Exam vouchers are transmitted electronically via e-mail and are non-refundable.
• Expires one year after date of purchase.
• Please allow up to two days for processing.
• The holder of this voucher number is entitled to take one exam at a Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC).
• The voucher number can be used to take either of the CCS Generative AI Foundations or CCS Professional Communication certification exams.
• In the event that you do not pass the exam, a retake code will be emailed to you. You may retake the exam after waiting 24 hours from the time your initial exam was first started. Retake vouchers must be used within 30 days of the failed exam.
• Certiport Authorized Testing Centers (CATCs) reserve the right to charge a proctoring fee.

My Pathway Basics

By passing multiple, specific certification exams that combine certain desirable work-ready skills, it places you on a more focused career path. After earning these particular certifications, you will receive a supplementary credential and Credly badge automatically awarded to your Certiport transcript and Credly Wallet.

My Pathway Details

My Pathway is a way for you to receive extra credentials by earning multiple certifications. For CCS, you could be on your way to becoming an Independent Contractor or Office Manager/Administrator (and more), after which you would receive additional layered credentials sponsored by Certiport. After passing the required My Pathway exams, you will also receive a badge from Credly that you may post to your social media such as LinkedIn (in addition to the badges you will receive for earning each individual certification that comprises the My Pathway credential).

How to get started on My Pathway

You begin by earning your first certification. The product on this page provides you with a single voucher that can be redeemed at a CATC to take your exam. Should you pass that exam, your journey has already begun. The next step would be to purchase another voucher and pass another required exam. For example, earning both of the required certifications listed on the My Pathway page at Certiport.com would grant you the credential of Independent Contractor.

After purchasing this product, you will also need to create a Test Candidate profile at Certiport.com in order to register and take your exam. When you are logged in at Certiport, an entire section is devoted to My Pathway where your progress with all pathways are tracked so you always know where to go next.
