CertPREP Practice Tests

CertPREP powered by GMetrix practice tests for the Apple App Development with Swift certification are designed to replicate the certification exam experience so Test Candidates can better prepare themselves for the actual exam. The CertPREP practice tests use the same in-app exam format as the Certiport certification exam and are mapped to the certification objectives so the Test Candidate is assured that they are practicing the skills that will help them pass the certification exam.

Practice tests are offered in two modes:

Testing Mode:

• Test Candidates experience what the certification exams will be like
• Timed practice test that performs just like the actual certification exam

Training Mode:

• Test Candidates work at their own pace as they receive feedback
• They may opt to access step-by-step instructions or help for each question

This CertPREP single application license allows you to make up to 30 practice test attempts for one of the available Apple titles during a one year period. Each title has 1-3 practice tests available. When the license holder activates this license, you will be able to choose any CertPREP title for Apple. Once you have chosen a title, the license will then be locked down to allow you to access only the chosen title.

After the practice test license is purchased, you will receive an email containing the product code and instructions on how access the practice tests.

Certiport Exam Voucher with Retake

App Development with Swift certifications recognizes Test Candidates for their knowledge of Swift, Xcode, and app development tools. Test Candidates who pass the certification exam will earn a digital badge they can share in a resume, portfolio, email, or in online professional networks.

App Development with Swift Associate:

Test Candidates who successfully complete the App Development with Swift Associate exam demonstrate knowledge of the impact of computing and apps on society, economies, and cultures while exploring iOS app development. This certification is aligned with Develop in Swift Explorations course made available for free from the Apple Book Store.

App Development with Swift Certified User:

Test Candidates who successfully complete the App Development with Swift Certified User exam demonstrate fundamental iOS app development skills with Swift. They have knowledge of core concepts and practices that professional Swift programmers use daily. This certification is aligned with Develop in Swift Fundamentals course made available for free from the Apple Book Store.

Certiport Exam Voucher Details:

• Exam vouchers are transmitted electronically via e-mail and are non-refundable.
• Expires one year after date of purchase.
• Please allow up to two days for processing.
• The holder of this voucher number is entitled to take one exam at a Certiport Authorized Testing Center.
• The voucher number can be used to take any one of the following Apple certification exams: App Development with Swift Associate or App Development with Swift Certified User.
• In the event that you do not pass the exam, a retake code will be emailed to you. You may retake the exam after waiting 24 hours from the time your initial exam was first started. Retake vouchers must be used within 60 days of the failed exam. (For details on Retake Vouchers please click here.)
• Certiport Authorized Testing Centers (CATCs) reserve the right to charge a proctoring fee and fees may vary.

My Pathway Basics

By passing multiple, specific certification exams that combine certain desirable work-ready skills, it places you on a more focused career path. After earning these particular certifications, you will receive a supplementary credential and Credly badge automatically awarded to your Certiport transcript and Credly Wallet.

My Pathway Details

My Pathway is a way for you to receive extra credentials by earning multiple certifications. For Apple, you could be on your way to becoming an App Development Freelances (and more with other Certiport certifications), after which you would receive additional layered credentials sponsored by Certiport. After passing the required My Pathway exams, you will also receive a badge from Credly that you may post to your social media such as LinkedIn (in addition to the badges you will receive for earning each individual certification that comprises the My Pathway credential).

How to get started on My Pathway

You begin by earning your first certification. The product on this page provides you with a single voucher that can be redeemed at a CATC to take your exam. Should you pass that exam, your journey has already begun. The next step would be to purchase another voucher and pass another required exam. For example, earning all three of the required certifications listed on the My Pathway page at Certiport.com would grant you the credential of App Development Freelancer.

After purchasing this product, you will also need to create a Test Candidate profile at Certiport.com in order to register and take your exam. When you are logged in at Certiport, an entire section is devoted to My Pathway where your progress with all pathways are tracked so you always know where to go next.
